Tenor - Dan Nichols

 Dan Nichols is a 19 year veteran of the Barbershop Society, but has
sung publicly since the age of 11. His favorite saying about singing is
that,"I would rather sing than eat." He must really like to sing. Dan
sang with the "Gaslight Tradition" quartet for 12 years and has other
quartet experience. Dan has sung with both classical and pop groups and
directed church choir and group singing and loves barbershop and gospel
best. He sings tenor with the quartet.
    Dan lives in Cuyahoga Falls with his wife of 38 years, Kathy and has 3
children and 12 grandchildren, which he adores. "Grandchildren are God's
greatest gift (after His Son), but the problem is you have to go through
children to get them."

Ray Stone

Lead

Ray Stone is a relative newcomer the the barbershop world. He has been singing with the Derbytown Chorus since 1999 and had his first quarteting experience with "Northern Lights" in 2001. Ray has over ten years of singing experience with his church choir and loves range of music available in the Barbershop style. Ray lives with wife Mary in Akron and together they run a small Income Tax business. They have three children Natalie, Jeremy and Melanie who are all barbeshop fans.

Jim Elliott

Bass

Jim Elliott has been singing Barbershop Harmony for about five years. Jim saw Akron's annual show and fell in love with the hobby. He has been singing with Clear Choice since the beginning. His other hobbies inlcude model railroading and landscape design. Jim lives in Cuyahoga Falls with his wife Marianne of 28 years. They have one son, Eddie.

Baritone - Bill Halter

Bill Halter, baritone, has been a member of the Akron Chapter since 2005 and is the newest member of the Clear Choice quartet. Bill is a retired school teacher (chemistry and physics) and has lots of music experience having sung with church choirs for many years. He also sings in an "Oldies" rock and roll band with his son Mike where he plays lead guitar. Other hobbies include reading, genealogy and camping in the family motor home. Bill lives in Kent with his wife of 36 years, Sue. They have two children, Mike and Kris.
