a barbershop quartet, has been singing and entertaining audiences throughout northeast Ohio since 2002. All four members belong
to the Akron chapter of the BARBERSHOP HARMONY SOCIETY. Between them, these four men have more than seventy-five years of
music and singing experience
Clear Choice often performs with the Matinee Singers, a small barbershop chorus
with the Akron chapter that performs for daytime events and at many retirement and nursing homes in the Akron area. In 2004,
the quartet performed for audiences more than 90 times. This past April the quartet sang for the Cleveland Indians opening
day activities at Jacob’s Field.
The members of Clear Choice believe there is something special about hearing
four voices come together to sing the old favorites. It takes us back to days when we were young and times were less complicated.
Life was a little less hectic and you could spend a carefree afternoon just singing a song.
